Roger Bergia Gymnasium

People went to see the Patriots win their first home game on Tuesday night against Midland. But if you stayed long enough after the JV game you witnessed a surprise. Mr. Eric Heath, our principle had the honor of surprising Mr. Bergia, our district superintendent for over 50 years, with a gymnasium named after him. That’s right! The Peoria Heights High School Gym is now named The Roger Bergia Gymnasium and has a huge banner to prove it. Mr. Bergia will be retiring from the Heights this school year after 52 years with us and will be greatly missed.
