Boys Basketball

By Jessica Lily
Staff Writer

The boy’s basketball season is off to a great start. They did very well in the Thanksgiving Tournament, winning two of the four games played.
They traveled to Beardstown on Friday the second. The game was pretty close throughout. The Patriots pulled through with a win. Finals score: 52-47.
On Tuesday the seventh the boys played the Midland Timberwolves. The boys won the game with the finishing score of 63-56.
On Friday the ninth the team traveled to Lewistown. It was close through the whole entire game. Lewistown tied the game as the clock ran out in the fourth quarter, so the game went into overtime. Lewistown won the game 57-60. It was a very devastating loss, but the boys never gave up.
The next home game will be played on December 16 against the Rushville Rockets. Come out and support your Patriots.
